Lighting Designer and Technician

I am August, a queer, trans lighting designer based out of Chicago! I graduated from Wittenberg University with a B.A. in theatre, focusing in design. I find much of my inspiration for visual storytelling through playing with color and movement. I firmly believe that connection to one’s own community stems from art and that helping others tell their stories is vital to expanding every person’s world, no matter of age, race, gender, or ability.
