The overall concept for A Midsummer Night’s Dream is that there was a man-made factory, something that pollutes and invades the world around it, which has been abandoned and reclaimed by nature. The nature, in this sense, proves its resilience, as the fairies prove theirs when the lovers and the rustics invade their space. The world felt mischievous for the fairies, but dangerous and unknown to the lovers.
